
Louise Walker is a Consultant in our Corporate team.
Dual qualified as a solicitor of England & Wales and as an Australian lawyer, Louise began her legal career in Melbourne before moving to the UK in 2011, where she has since worked in both corporate and commercial legal roles. She brings with her over 15 years of experience spanning private practice and in-house positions.
Her career includes time at leading firms such as Minter Ellison in Melbourne and Linklaters LLP in London, as well as several years working in-house at BBC Studios. Louise went on to become Head of Legal at Nova Systems International, the international arm of an Australian engineering consultancy group, before moving into consultancy.
Louise has a passion for corporate work, with expertise across both transactional and advisory matters. Her experience covers company acquisitions and disposals, start-ups, corporate reorganisations, shareholder arrangements and board advisory matters. She also advises on complex cross-border transactions, drawing on her extensive international background.
Recognised for her focused and thorough approach, Louise combines strong technical expertise with commercial acumen, delivering clear, practical advice that helps clients navigate challenges with confidence.
Provided corporate legal support to companies of all sizes during her tenure at law firms in the UK and Australia, advising on private and public M&A, intra-group reorganisations, fundraising and general corporate matters.
Acted as the lead lawyer at BBC Studios on investments into start-up independent production companies, including restructuring of shareholding arrangements and leading on acquisitions and disposals of production companies.
Served as the Head of Legal for Nova Systems International, delivering cross-jurisdictional legal support across the UK, Ireland, Singapore, and Norway.
