A highly experienced corporate law solicitor, Rob specialises in acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructuring, and converting businesses to employee ownership. He advises on a wide range of business-critical transactions and structural changes, including reorganisations and employee ownership transitions, with a strong track record of delivering practical, constructive and commercially focused legal solutions.

Rob has acted for a wide range of clients across industries and sectors in the East Midlands and beyond, regularly advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses. He understands that buying or selling a company is a significant milestone for business owners and works closely with clients at all stages of a transaction to provide comprehensive support and guidance. Known for his pragmatic and commercial approach, he is committed to getting transactions over the line with fair and proportionate sale agreements.

His restructuring expertise includes share buybacks, share-for-share exchanges, dividends/distributions in specie, capital reductions and demergers.

Rob qualified as a solicitor in November 2016 and, prior to joining Acuity, worked at two well-regarded Leicester law firms. He is recognised for his responsiveness and thorough approach and is often praised by clients for simplifying complex legal issues and delivering outcomes with confidence and clarity.
