Karen is an experienced lawyer specialising in all aspects of real estate. Before joining Acuity, she was a legal director at DLA Piper.

She has acted for some of the UK’s biggest institutional landlords and tenants, undertaking all types of investment and management work. She has a particular specialism in distressed real estate.

  • Undertaking a secondment as General Counsel to a property investment and technology company that owns and manages 20 acres of prime real estate across Camden Market and the West End
  • Acting for a number of banks and insolvency practitioners on a variety of asset management, disposals and restructuring matters; of particular note: what is now the Ham Yard Hotel; the former “second Odeon cinema” at Leicester Square currently under redevelopment; residential and commercial developments, including what was reported in 2018 as “one of Britain’s most expensive homes”
