Barry Sankey joins Acuity’s Real Estate team, bringing with him nearly four decades of experience of commercial property projects and UK Science Park expertise. Barry is a leading adviser to science and tech parks and developer of legal and prop-tech systems with a genuine passion for the built environment. Barry commented ‘Acuity takes the best of ‘old’ law but merges it with the opportunity and freedom that virtual working can offer. I look forward to working with Acuity’s award-winning real estate team’.
A welcomed addition to Acuity’s planning team, Jim Ryan is an experienced Town & Country Planning Lawyer and brings comprehensive experience in compulsory purchase, highway law, rights of way and the law of commons and town and village greens. ‘Acuity scores much higher than most in its level of support for consultants. I’ve been impressed by the collaboration across the business, with consultants and employees working in synergy to offer a modern approach to law’.
Expert Aviation Lawyer Ashley Whitcher leads Acuity’s Aviation offering and boasts comprehensive experience at senior level within the sector. He is known for developing and deploying successful legal strategies and for leading on complex multi-jurisdiction projects. He has a proven background in corporate governance, mergers and acquisition, dispute resolution, and complex commercial contract drafting and negotiation. Ashley commented ‘In a short period of time, I have seen how Acuity nurtures an open and inclusive culture and I very much look forward to working with the Acuity team’.
Highly experienced Fintech lawyer and former General Counsel, Karl Foster galvanises Acuity’s Fintech team, bringing with him insurtech, regulatory and technology expertise. His strategic focus is on the use and implications of technology as a disruptive process and the management of risk whilst achieving commercial aims.
